Our workshops are fun and engaging, delivered by deaf people and we love to meet new young people every day!
SignHealth believe that it is important that you have information as early as possible, in an accessible way. This will help you to build confidence and self-esteem, become aware of dangers and keep yourself safe. We can also support your understanding of what is happening to your body, and cover other topics that are important to you.
You can find out more about our workshops for deaf young people by contacting us at cyp@signhealth.org.uk.
If you would like us to deliver a workshop at your school, or if you are a teacher or youth leader and would like to book us to deliver a session, please complete request form and a member of the team will get back to you.
Please note that we usually need at least 8 weeks notice for workshops.
We have recently needed to change our position on delivering to Primary Schools. This is due to the demand for our workshops on a national level and the size of our team. We can deliver to Secondary Schools and have a limit of 4 workshops per school per year to make sure that as many deaf young people benefit from our workshops as possible via our funding. If you would like to talk to us about delivery to primary school aged deaf children, please contact us but please be aware there may be a charge for us to tailor this.
We are committed to making sure that children and young people who receive our support are safe. You can read more about this here.
