SignHealth has zero tolerance for all forms of abuse towards children, young people and adults. We recognise that everyone working with children and young people like you are responsible for keeping you safe, and that we have a statutory duty to make sure that we have strong procedures in place to support you. At SignHealth, our Children and Young People Team have up to date DBS checks that are enhanced with children’s barred.
All staff are required to undertake Safeguarding and Child Protection training every year and we have a robust Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and Procedure in place that is reviewed regularly. We have named people who are responsible for making sure that everyone is doing their job safely. They are called Designated Safeguarding Officers (DSO) and they work with SignHealth’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). We are also committed to making sure that your views are recognised and understood. We take a child and young person-centred approach to everything we do.
